Chroniques Maroc tells the story of the Moroccan economy for everyone who doesn't read the financial press: young professionals, small savers, Moroccans abroad, students, and anyone curious about the country. The Casablanca Stock Exchange, macroeconomic indicators, major projects and economic history, explained simply and always sourced, in French, Arabic and English.
Our method
- Public information only. Every figure comes from an official release (Bank Al-Maghrib, HCP, Ministry of Economy and Finance, AMMC, Casablanca Stock Exchange, listed companies) or a media outlet citing it.
- After the official announcement. We only publish information about a company once the issuer or the relevant authority has made it public.
- A source for every figure. Sources are listed at the bottom of each page, with a link where one exists.
- No investment advice. We explain and put things in perspective. We never recommend buying or selling a security.
- Visible corrections. A reported and verified error is corrected quickly, and the update date shows it.
